Da Nang is concentrating on pushing for the progress of its key transport projects in the buildup to Tet (Lunar New Year) 2021. The construction sites of these projects have seen a busy, bustling working atmosphere as all of the workers have been racing against time to speed up the deployment tempo after previous stagnations mainly triggered by the COVID-19 crisis and harsh weather conditions raging the past year.

Enthusiastic working atmosphere is seen at the construction site of a street and a bridge spanning the Co Co River in Ngu Hanh Son District’s Hoa Hai Ward.

The active initiative to promote the application of new advanced technology and the around-the-clock working spirit has demonstrated the high determination of the construction units to keep the project progress on schedule no mater what challenges or obstacles face them during the deployment duration.

Many construction workers are now kept on alternating day and night shift schedules, regardless of weekends, to keep progress on track.

Bustling ambiance has been recorded at construction sites of such key transport projects as the traffic re-arrangement project at the western end of the Tran Thi Ly Bridge, DH2 and DT 601 streets, western ring roads and the northwest traffic axis route.

Construction sites of these projects have turned more bustling with the sound of the excavator and operating at full capacity.

Hundreds of workers have worked around the clock at the site of the Da Nang government-funded 800 billion VND Da Nang Software Park No 2 project, which facades onto Nhu Nguyet Street, Thuan Phuoc Ward, Hai Chau District.

Developed by Da Nang Management Board of the Industrial and Civil Engineering Construction and Investment Projects, the project will comprise office buildings covering a with a total gross internal floor area of more than 71,000m2.

Work commenced on this key project on 10 October, 2020, and it is expected to reach completion on 31 August, 2022.

Up to 100 workers on duty at a water environment improvement project east of Son Tra District have geared up their high sense of responsibility to ccomplete construction items by June 2021 at the latest.

The implementation of the APEC Park expansion project in Binh Hien Ward, Hai Chau District, in a similar vein, is progress well.

The new development will comprise a public park, a stroll garden associated with an existing sculpture garden, a main stage, a water fountain, a stage for organising cultural events, a playground for children, greenery areas, a parking area, and underground public toilets. Once completed, the expansion will turn this special park into a new must-visit place, featuring special cultural characteristics of Da Nang, for any tourists arriving in Da Nang.

Every day, hundreds of workers, technical experts, and supervisors and consultants are indulged in their assigned tasks with a high sense of responsibility and determination to keep on-scheduled progress. This is an important project management imperative in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic and continuously-slashing unfavourable weather conditions recorded last year. Bustling working ambiance is still recorded during odd hour.
