The pilot formation of night-time tourism products and services along the My An beach, connected to the bustling An Thuong tourist quarter is within the framework of the municipal administration –adopted night-time economic development project.
The much-awaited project aims to effectively tap the city’s great tourism development advantages and potential, thus creating new attractive tourism products that can be on par with those in other Vietnamese destinations, said Nguyen Duc Vu, Head of the Management Board of the Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang tourism beaches.
The pilot duration is slated to run from April 2021 to April 2023 with the aim of bringing up an attractive new look to the My An beach.
The deployment area is expected to extend from the Nguyen Van Thoai intersection to the Hoang Ke Viem intersection with a total length of 865m.
The ‘My An Night Beach’ piloted scheme will feature highly inviting such tourism products as food truck, a large motorised vehicle (such as a van) or trailer, equipped to cook, prepare, serve, and/or sell food, outdoor staging events associated with community-based activities, folk games, movie screenings on the beach, check-in spots, and massage therapy service on the beach.
Besides, such other auxiliary activities as street music, arts portrait painting, calligraphy arts and ‘The Little Mermaid’-themed photography service is expected to impressively entertain both locals and tourists.

In reality, the pilot formation of night-time tourism products and services along the My An beach is highly feasible and effective as their organisation locales show many advantages.
The beach is highly appreciated for its beautiful and clean landscape, whilst beach management, security, and environmental sanitation are completely also guaranteed.
Addition to entertainment services, more auxiliary activities will take the shape along the My An beach |
Additionally, the beach boasts a eassy-to-teach connection with the highly popular An Thuong quarter with such tourists-packed streets as Nguyen Van Thoai and Tran Bach Dang.
Like the An Thuong Tourist Streets project, the pilot development of night-time tourism products and services along the My An beach is much expected by both locals and tourists.
“If more night-time services are developed at the My An beach, this area, without a doubt, will become a new attraction grabbing much attention from both locals and tourists. The more visitors there are, the more prosperous our trading operations become”, said Ms Dieu Linh, the owner of a restaurant located on Tran Bach Dang street.
In his perspectives, Mr. Pham Dinh Hoang, Director of the city-based Hoang Anh Viet tourism company proposed that the would –be night-time entertainment activities along the My An beach be organised in a diverse yet professional manner, with a community cultural imprints and a wide public space for the sake of tourists’ comfortable experience.
Along with the creation of tourism products, the service quality and trading civilisation must be ensured.
