SDN breaks ground on around VND 2,350 social housing project in Da Nang

The Sai Gon-Da Nang Investment Corporation (SDN) on Tuesday morning broke ground on an around VND 2,350 billion development in Hoa Hiep Nam Ward, Lien Chieu District, Da Nang.

Da Nang People’s Council Vice Chairman Le Minh Trung and Municipal People’s Committee Vice Chairman Le Quang Nam attended the groundbreaking ceremony.

In his remarks at the event, Municipal People’s Committee Vice Chairman Le Quang Nam highlighted the significance of the new development in realising Da Nang government’s goal of promoting affordable housing schemes which allow social policy beneficiaries, low-income earners and blue-collar workers better access to housing.

Vice Chairman Nam also vowed that Da Nang authorities are ready to create the most favourable condtions for SDN to keep its project on track and deliver it on time.

The new development named Bau Tram - The Ori Garden social housing project will cover an area of 46 ha in the Bau Tram Lakeside green urban area near Lien Chieu Industrial Park (IP).

The new new development will feature 10 twenty-one storey building with a total floor area of 267,000 square metres.

Once completed, the new development will provide a combined total of 3,358 comfortable apartments for employees working for companies based in Lien Chieu and Hoa Khanh IPs.
