Da Nang halts reception for road transport from COVID-19- hit localities
The Da Nang Department of Transport has just issued an official dispatch on the suspension of receiving transport vehicles from coronavirus - hit localities across Viet Nam, following new COVID-19 cases freshly registered in the city.
In detail, the Department of Transport requires coach stations and passenger transport businesses based in the city absolutely not to carry out passenger transport services by inter-provincial fixed-route coach, contract vehicle, tourist coach and taxi into Da Nang from localities where COVID-19 infections have reported.
Special heed will be paid to intensifying the management of checkpoints set up at the entrances to Da Nang to control all vehicles entering and leaving the city, and promptly detect and handle means of transport that break the compulsory COVID-19 prevention and control rules.
Patrols should be conducted around the clock to detect inter-provincial fixed-route passenger coaches, especially those entering the city centre in the time frame from 1:00a.m. to 6:00a.m. daily.
