The Prime Minister has just approved the amendments and supplements to a number of articles in Decision No. 1296/QD-TTg dated October 3, 2018 on the functions of the Authority of Da Nang Hi-Tech Park and Industrial Zones (DHPIZA).

Simply put, DHPIZA is an agency directly under the municipal People's Committee. In addition to conducting the direct State management of the Da Nang Hi-tech Park and industrial parks (IPs) across the city as previously, this agency is now assigned to be in charge of monitoring the operation of the Da Nang Concentrated Information Technology Park.

Besides, DHPIZA must provide public administrative services and other supporting ones related to investment, production and business activities for investors operating in the Hi-tech Park, the Concentrated IT Park and IPs across the city in line with laws.

Previously, on January 6, 2020, the Prime Minister gave a nod to the development of the first stage of the Da Nang Concentrated IT Park.

Covering an area of 131 ha in Hoa Lien Commune, Hoa Vang District, the first stage of the Da Nang Concentrated IT Park is being developed by  the Da Nang IT Park Development JSC.

The Park is entitled to preferential policies for concentrated IT parks nationwide as prescribed in Decree No. 154/2013/ND-CP and other laws.
