The first phase of the Software Park No. 2 project located in Thuan Phuoc Ward, Hai Chau District, Da Nang, will pass another key milestone towards its opening with a 'topping out' ceremony for the 20- storey ICT Office Building which took place on Friday afternoon.

The Thai Son Corporation and the 319 Corporation, both under Ministry of Defence, are working with Vinaconex 25 Joint Stock Company and Da Nang Construction and Infrastructure Development Joint Stock Company to carry out construction work.

Work started on the ICT Office Building on October 10, 2020, and this item is expected to deliver on August 31, 2021.

Developed by the Da Nang Management Board of Industrial and Civil Engineering Construction and Investment Projects, the new development consists of 20 floors with the total floor area of 17,649 square metres and the total construction area of 26,267 square metres.

The Software Park No. 2 project has a total area of more than 28,500 square metres, including the 20- storey ICT Office Building, the 8- storey ICT1 Office Building, the 8-storey ICT 2 Building Complex featuring offices and coffee bar, internal roads, areas of land covered with grass and trees.

Once completed, this project is expected to accommodate about 6,000 IT employees
