The Quang Thanh wet market in Hoa Khanh Bac Ward, Lien Chieu District, and the Le Trach wet market in Hoa Tien Commune, Hoa Vang District, Da Nang, have temporarily closed after some stall holders tested positive for COVID-19.

Temporary closures of Quang Thanh and Le Trach markets were made at 0am on July 26 and 11am on July 25 until further notice, respectively, by local authorities.

The closure order came following tests on some stall holders in the two venues had found signs of COVID-19. 

The two venues have been closed to allow time for all contacts of positive cases to be tracked down and tested, and have both locations cleaned professionally in efforts to curb the spread of the virus.

Trading activities are banned in surrounding areas of the two venues, and strictest penalties will be imposed for non-compliance.
