The Da Nang Department of Science and Technology, the National Agency for Technology Entrepreneurship and Commercialisation Development under the Vietnamese Ministry of Science and Technology and the Vicoland Group have just signed a framework of cooperation agreement on innovative startup cooperation in Da Nang.

Accordingly, the parties will cooperate to form and operate the National Support Centre for Innovative Startups under the Ministry of Science and Technology in Da Nang, organise startup events and contests to find startup talent, and develop co-working spaces and innovative startup business incubators.

The Da Nang side will support the Vicoland Group to form and operate the Innovation Startup Investment Fund and facilitate the formation of a network of domestic and international venture capital funds in the city.

Also, another heed will be paid to cooperating in the building of mechanisms and policies to develop innovative startups towards building Da Nang into an innovative startup centre in the Central Viet Nam and Central Highlands regions, and a national Fintech centre in Da Nang with policy testing models and other outstanding and specific mechanisms and policies.

In particular, the Vicoland Group will give support for the city in terms of facilities, equipment and premises for the National Support Centre for Creative Startups, which is expected to make its debut before September 30, 2021.
