The Economic Police Team of the Thanh Khe District Police, Da Nang have recently seized more than 1.5 tonnes of clothes of unknown origin planned for online sales stored in Do Quang Street-located warehouse.

The female owner of the warehouse failed to show valid invoices and documents to prove the legal origin of the goods.

Previously, this police team conducted a surprise raid at carriage No.131262 of the freight train running on the Ha Noi - Da Nang route during its stoppage at Da Nang Railway Station.

Inside the carriage were a total of 3.5 tonnes of goods, including electronic equipment, cosmetics, children's toys and bicycles, all of which had been sent from Ha Noi to many recipients in Da Nang.

However, at the time of inspection, the recipients were not present.

The total value of goods seized from the train carriage and the aformentioned warehouse is estimated at about VND700 million.
