Last year, the industry and trade sector focused on well implementing the assigned tasks in order to boost the city's socio-economic recovery and growth in the context of safe and flexible adaptation and effective control of COVID-19, effectively deploying industrial promotion policies, forming night markets and pedestrian streets.

Also, policies were released to accelerate industrial promotion programmes, the production of souvenirs and tourism services and the project “Development of yacht-related industries and services”

Vice Chairman Son suggested that the municipal Department of Industry and Trade strengthen cooperation with other relevant agencies in order to improve the quality and operational efficiency, bring activities into depth and practicality.

Heed must also be paid to effectively implementing administrative procedure reforms, ensuring goods supply and demands, and stabilising the market during the 2022 Lunar New Year festival.
