Over VND1,100 billion worth of investment for 7 new projects
Following recent approval by the Da Nang People’s Council, a total of VND1,100 billion from the municipal budget will be spent on seven public investment projects in Da Nang.
The projects are the Hoa Khuong 2 resettlement area for those displaced by the Western Ring Road project, the technical infrastructure of a resettlement area for those affected by the Hoa Bac Commune Centre project (Phase 2), a section of the West Ring Road through the Da Nang Centralised Information Technology Park, the upgrading of the September 2 Peace Monument, the expanding of the March 29 Square, an anti-erosion embankment upstream of Truong Dinh Bridge, Cu De River, the Cam Le District inner-city traffic roads (Phase 2) and social apartments on Vu Mong Nguyen Street for people with meritorious services to the national revolution.
In addition, the municipal administration gave the go-ahead to the adjustment to the in-principle investment policy decisions of three projects, namely the Northwest Axis No.1 route, the Le Trong Tan Route and the project of emergency dredging and floodwater drainage of the Co Co River as follows.
The capital of the North West Axis No.1 route will increase by more than VND273 billion to more than VND966 billion.
The capital of the project of emergency dredging and floodwater drainage of the Co Co River (the section passing through Da Nang) and improving the capacity of Tho Quang's fishing wharf for storm avoiding will rise by more than VND214 billion to over VND 800 billion VND. This project will be implemented in the 2019 - 2024 period.
The cost of the building of a section of Le Trong Tan from Phuoc Ly No. 6 Resettlement area to Hoang Van Thai Street will climb by over VND32 billion to more than VND127 billion for its implementation during the 2021 – 2024 period.
