Da Nang will develop a network of specialised hydro-meteorological monitoring stations to contribute to driving the city’s socio-economic development and natural disaster prevention and control.

A focus will be on increasing the density of hydro-meteorological stations in the city, especially in coastal and mountainous areas, and areas where natural disasters often occur.

Additionally, 100% of important works in the city such as airports, dams, reservoirs, seaports, bridges, radio and television broadcasting stations, cable cars, highways, and general inland waterway ports are asked to complete the installation of hydro-meteorological monitoring equipment and organise the monitoring and provision of hydro-meteorological information and data before 2025.
