The Da Nang government has given the go-ahead for exemptions and discounts on rental fees for freshwater shower and parking service providers at local beaches in a bid to help them get through the pandemic-triggered tough time.

The municipal People’s Committee has asked the Department of Tourism to cooperate with the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang Tourism Beaches, the Department of Finance and related agencies to guide freshwater shower and parking service providers to implement necessary procedures in order to enjoy exemptions and reductions on rental fees according to the city’s regulations.

The city’s Department of Tourism and the Management Board are responsible for making reports about the levels of impact on actual operations, statistics on revenue and time of actual impact, and the amount of rental fee exemptions and reductions to the local authorities for consideration.
