Da Nang is hosting a series of intriguing activities and events, as well as offering many attractive stimulus packages to lure more tourists to the city in the coming time.

‘Enjoy Da Nang’

That is the message that Da Nang’s tourism sector wants to send to tourists from both home and abroad when coming to Da Nang at this time.

The city has recently launched the Da Nang Tourism Stimulus Programme 2022 themed ‘Enjoy Da Nang’ with many attractive and unique product packages at preferential prices and professional service quality, promising to bring the best incentives and service experiences to visitors.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Cong from Ha Noi said that he experienced the best services during his 3-day/2-night trip in Da Nang.

“The hotel reception staff are very enthusiastic and friendly, and many fassciating entertainment areas are reopened” added he.

Director of the Da Nang Tourism Promotion Centre Nguyen Thi Hoai An remarked that the recently-launched tourism stimulus programme under the slogan of ‘Da Nang is bustling with many incentives’ was divided into 2 phases. Specifically, the first phase lasts from April 7 - May 31, whilst the second phase will be launched from July 1 - August 15.

Accordingly, the focus will be on eight main vacation packages, including the Da Nang experience package with 4 promotional combos for round-trip air tickets between Ha Noi/Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang, and 5-star hotel at the preferential price of VND899,000 - VND2.99 million/person.

Also, there is a stimulus package to link Hai Phong - Da Nang flight route, consisting of 5-star resort and air ticket of VND2.19 million /person or you can choose to buy a package tour at a super attractive price from VND3.25 million - VND3.55 million/guest.

In addition to the above stimulus packages, healthcare packages, golf and resort packages, entertainment packages at Sun World Ba Na Hill,, Mikazuki Water Park and Nui Than Tai Hot Spring Park, and discounts of 20-50% offered by hotels, resorts and tourist attractions, will also give visitors many choices.

According to Mr. Nguyen Viet Trai, Director of the Da Nang branch of the Mai Linh Tourism Company, cum leader of a sales team of the city’s tourism stimulus programme, the abovementioned packages are being sold by 12 travel agencies and tourism service providers in the city.

He noted this year’s stimulus packages focused on not only distant markets but also on neighbouring localities. Travel agencies will connect diversely with domestic tourist markets to attract more tourists to Da Nang.

“We hope that the city’s tourism stimulus programme with many incentives, focusing on diverse service experiences and many additional utilities, will bring a fresh atmosphere to visitors and stimulate their tourism demand after a long-lasting restraint", said Mr. Trai.

Adding many new events

Mrs. Nguyen Thi Hoai An shared that many special events and activities were being held in the city in order to increase experience for visitors.

Included are the opening of the CT15 inland wharf - Bai Da inland waterway route in the Son Tra Peninsula, the launching of the Da Nang-Ly Son Island inland waterway tourism route, and the pilot organisation of nightlife entertainment activities at the My An Beach.

Most interestingly, the Sun World Ba Na Hills Tourist Area is hosting many exciting festivals such as Summer Festival - B'estival Beer and Food Festival 2022 from April 30 - August 30, the European fair, mountain train system with a total length of nearly 430m, and an arts show entitled ‘The Battle of the Moon Kingdom’ to be performed by more than 160 international artists from April 30 to August 30, 2022.

Also, visitors to the Toom Sara village in the Suoi Hoa tourist area on April 16 will have the opportunity to join Campfest, experience local specialties, and immerse themselves in vibrant music shows.

Moreover, many sooon-to-be-organised big events will mark the impressive return of Da Nang, including Routes Asia 2022 and the 'Wonderful Da Nang 2022' Festival, both scheduled for June, the Da Nang Sailing Competition 2022 slated for August, and the 'Color Me Run' expected for June 10-12.

Deputy Director of the municipal Department of Tourism Nguyen Xuan Binh underlined that aside from developing special tourism products and services, his department has coordinated with related units and businesses to organise training courses enhancing the capacity for hospitality workers, and conduct marketing campaigns to widely promote local tourist spots to visitors.

“Hopefully, this year’s tourism stimulus programme will attract more tourists to Da Nang, and Central Viet Nam as a whole, thereby contributing to promoting the city’s image as a friendly, safe, hospitable destination and ready to welcome domestic and international tourists..
