Da Nang links up with Son La to promote consumption of agricultural products
The Da Nang Cooperative Alliance on Monday entered into a cooperation agreement with its counterpart in Son la Province for the 2022-2026 period.
Under the deal, the two sides will learn from each other's experiences in collective economic development and cooperatives, especially in building new and typical cooperative models.
In addition, they will exchange experience in consulting and supporting cooperatives to provide services to their members producing key local products, OCOP products.
Great efforts will be made to support cooperatives in the two localities to promote supply-demand connection, product consumption, trade promotion and market expansion by facilitating cooperatives to participate in appropriate exhibitions; encouraging collective economic organisations and cooperatives to invest into wholesale and retail distribution channels in each locality; promoting product marketing and consumption; and creating favourable conditions for cooperatives in the two localities to expand their operations.
In his remarks at the signing ceremony, Chairman of the Son La province Cooperative Alliance Le Tien Loi expressed his wish to cooperate comprehensively with the Da Nang Cooperative Alliance in exchange of experiences and in promotion of product consumption, as well as in affirming the role of the Cooperative Alliance system in supporting the consumption of products of cooperatives and cooperative members.
Chairman of the Da Nang Cooperative Alliance Pham Cong Chinh also expressed his desire that the Son La province Cooperative Alliance would boost trade connections and consumption of the province’s products, especially quality agricultural products, in service of tourists and residents in Da Nang.
