A meeting took place on Wednesday to discuss more effective solutions to difficulties and challenges facing Cam Le District-based businesses over the past times.

A representative of the Phu Hoang Transport Services JSC (Tien Sa Taxi) mentioned some difficulties facing transport enterprises relating to road use fees, regulations on the registration of means of transport, and the most difficult thing is the upward trend of gasoline and oil prices.

Meanwhile, the Dai Han Mechanical JSC and other firms now still encounter some difficulties in  accessing production premises as well as procedures for bank loans and many of them have yet to grasp support policies on science - technology and industrial promotion.

Mr. Ho Van Khoa, the Chairman of the Cam Le District People's Committee said that the district now houses about 6,000 enterprises and nearly 10,000 families-run businesses.

In order to meet the growing demand for premises among businesses, Phase 2 of the Hoa Cam Industrial Park, which is progressing on track, is expected to be completed by late this year.

With regard to supporting businesses to expand the market, the local authorities will continue to coordinate with the municipal Department of Industry and Trade to beef up trade connections and create the most favourable possible conditions for businesses to operate well.

In addition, some firms-raised questions about tax policies, science - technology support policy and other issues of deep concern were also answered by representatives of relevant local agencies at the above-mentioned meeting.
