The Da Nang People's Committee has approved the reduction in infrastructure usage fees in 2021 for businesses operating in 3 industrial parks (IPs).

Specifically, the local government will give a nod to a reduction of more than VND2.2 billion worth of infrastructure usage fees in 2021 for businesses operating in the Hoa Khanh IP and Da Nang Seafood Services IP, both managed by the Da Nang Industrial Park Infrastructure Development and Exploitation Company, as compared to the compulsory payment amount of more than VND4.4 billion.

In a similar vein, the infrastructure usage fees paid by businesses in 2021 in Hoa Cam IP in Cam Le District will be reduced by VND3.9 billion, instead of more than VND7.7 billion worth of compulsory payment amount.

The municipal administration requires the Hoa Cam Industrial Park Investment Joint Stock Company to be responsible for reducing infrastructure usage fees applied to businesses in the Hoa Cam IP to ensure compliance with regulations.

As assigned by the municipal authorities, the Da Nang Authority of Hi-Tech Parks and Industrial Zones (DHPIZA) will supervise the implementation of the above-mentioned supportive scheme. 

In the coming time, the DHPIZA will continue to urge businesses to submit dossiers to access supportive schemes, reviewing their validity before submitting to the municipal Department of Finance for approval.

The policy of 50% reduction in fees for using infrastructure in local IPs is one of Da Nang's support policies for businesses in an attempt to help them overcome difficulties after the COVID-19 pandemic.
