Enhancing market management expertise in Central Viet Nam- Central Highlands
A meeting has recently taken place to review coordination between the Market Management Bureaus in cities and provinces in the Central Coast - Central Highlands regions in 2022 and celebrate the 65th anniversary of the National Day of Market Management Forces.
In the past time, the Market Management Bureaus in cities and provinces in the Central Coast - Central Highlands regions have made joint efforts inspecting and managing the market and handled the trade in banned, smuggled fake and poor-quality goods and the violation of intellectual property rights, food safety and hygiene, medical equipment to support disease prevention and control.
Specifically, from June 2021 to May 2022, law enforcement forces have inspected 10,638 and levied more than VND25 billion on 5,599 cases.
In addition to the coordination between functional units in the region, the Market Management Bureaus also regularly coordinate with their counterparts outside the regions inverifying invoices, urging the delivery of administrative sanctioning decisions.
Representatives of the units suggested that, in the coming time, the above-mentioned relevant agencies should strengthen the exchange and sharing of information and forecast the potential inter-provincial violations, commercial frauds and the trade in counterfeit, banned and smuggled goods on national highways through central coastal provinces
Addressing the meeting, Director of the Da Nang Department of Industry and Trade Le Thi Kim Phuong presented congratulatory gifts to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the Traditional Day of Market Management Forces to the representative of the General Department of Information Management.
In particular, Information Management Bureaus in the provinces of Thanh Hoa, Nghe An and Ha Tinh were granted memberships to the region.
