Gasoline prices rise sharply
The prices of gasoline and oil continued to rise following the latest adjustment by the Inter-Ministry of Industry and Trade – Finance from 3:00 p.m on June 13.
In detail, the retail price of E5 RON92 was raised by VND 880 per litre, from VND 30,230 per litre to VND 31,110 per litre, while RON95 price was increased by VND 800 per litre, from VND 31,570 per litre to VND 32,370 per litre.
Diesel oil price was raised by VND 2,630 per litre, from VND 26,390 per litre to VND 29,020 per litre. Kerosene price was up by VND 2,490 per litre, from VND 25,340 per litre to VND 27,830 per litre. Mazut oil price decreased by VND 550 a kg, from VND 20,900 a kg to VND 20,350 a kg.
In this adjustment, the Inter-Ministry of Industry and Trade - Finance stopped to set up the fuel price stabilization fund for many items (except mazut).
This is the sixth consecutive hike and the twelfth increase in gasoline price since the beginning of 2022.
