Da Nang has taken a lead in Central Viet Nam in terms of the average monthly earnings of all employees in Da Nang in the second quarter of 2022, data released in mid-July by the General Statistics Office of Viet Nam showed.

Employees of Da Nang had the highest monthly average income per capita in the region, amounting to VND 7.3 million, up 9.7% from the first quarter, equivalent to an increase of approximately VND 643,000.

Overall, the average monthly income for employees per capita across the country increased by VND 206,000 quarter on quarter in the second quarter to hit VND 6.6 million. The average monthly earnings per capita for Viet Nam’s employees climbed by arround VND 542,000, stronger than a 8.9% rise in the same period of 2021.

Employees of North Central Coast and the Central Coast had the highest monthly average income per capita among 6 Vietnamese economic hubs, amounting to VND 5.8 million, up 12.9% from the first quarter, equivalent to an increase of approximately VND 620,000.
