During his meeting with representatives from the Malaysia-headquartered Parkcity Property Holdings Sdn. Bhd., Da Nang People’s Committee Chairman Le Trung Chinh highlighted the similarities in socio-economic development between Viet Nam and Malaysia.

He informed his guests that 14 Malaysian-invested enterprises are now operating in the city. Despite that modest number, these businesses have made positive contributions to the city’s progress over the past time.

Chairman Chinh affirmed that the meeting with the ParkCity Property Holdings Group opened up an opportunity to further foster the bilateral economic cooperation relationship between Malaysia and Da Nang in the time to come.

He pledged that the municipal authorities would create maximum conditions for the Malaysian group to invest into the city.

In reply, Chairman of the ParkCity Property Holdings Group Datuk Seri Yaw Chee Siew said that the purpose of his group’s visit to Da Nang was to learn about investment opportunities and trade promotion programmes in the city.

He added upon arrival in Da Nang, his group conducted surveys on local investment locations.

Mr. Datuk Seri Yaw Chee Siew remarked that the group’s businesses have a lot of experience in developing synchronous urban areas, hoping that the city leader would create the most favourable conditions for his group to invest into the city in the near future.

ParkCity Property Holdings Group is a Malaysia-headquartered property development and investment company with a diverse business portfolio spanning across industries, including investment, real estate, commercial services, education, hotels and resorts.

In Viet Nam, the group has opened the ParkCity Ha Dong urban area with many utilities.
