Railway ticket sales for upcoming National Day holiday
The Viet Nam Railways Corporation announced on Tuesday that it has started selling train tickets on many routes to meet the growing travel demand of the public during the upcoming National Day (September 2) holiday.
Specifically, the railway industry has opened sales of train tickets for 4 pairs of trains SE1/SE2, SE3/SE4, SE5/SE6 and SE7/SE8 running daily between Ha Noi - HCMC, and for trains SE21/SE22 operating on the HCMC - Da Nang route, SNT1/SNT2 on the HCMC - Nha Trang route, and SPT1/SPT2 on the HCMC - Phan Thiet route.
In addition to the 4 pairs of Thong Nhat trains, tickets are on sale for a pair of NA1/NA2 trains running daily between Ha Noi and Vinh, some pairs of trains on the Ha Noi - Hai Phong route, and a pair of SP3/SP4 trains between Ha Noi and Lao Cai.
Besides, during the summer's peak travel season, the Viet Nam Railways Corporation has increased the number of trains on routes with large travel passengers such as HCMC - Quy Nhon, HCMC - Nha Trang, HCMC - Phan Thiet and Ha Noi - Hai Phong.
Apart from the pairs of fixed trains, the railway industry plans to run more passenger trains connecting HCMC and Ha Noi, Quang Ngai, Quy Nhon, Nha Trang, and Phan Thiet, and connecting Ha Noi and Vinh and Hai Phong, in a bid to satisfy the increasing demand of passengers.
