Turning digital platform into tool to promote Da Nang products
Director of the Department of Industry and Trade Le Thi Kim Phuong has signed and promulgated a plan to promote the application of information technology and digital transformation in trade promotion activities in the 2021 - 2030 period in the city in 2022 and a framework plan for the 2022 - 2025 period.
Accordingly, by 2025, Da Nang industry and trade industry will build, complete and update the database specialised in trade promotion and key trade and export industries of the city into the national digital trade promotion ecosystem, and 100% trade promotion organisation; 70% of businesses, cooperatives and business households are granted accounts on the National Digital Trade Promotion Ecosystem and 50% of these have transactions and information sharing.
The above-mentioned plan also sets a target that, by 2025, 25% of the fairs and exhibitions in the city will be held online.
Another objective is to make the digital platform an effective tool for introducing and promoting Da Nang's products as well as serve as a bridge to help the city's businesses find potential partners and expand consumption markets.
Also, 100% of the administrative procedures in the field of trade promotion in the city are deployed online public services at level 4, the highest level in Viet Nam’s online public service system, allowing the reception and returning of results through the Public Service Portal. All of the enterprises are satisfied with the results of administrative procedures in the electronic environment.
In order to well implement the aforementioned goals, the Department will coordinate with the Trade Promotion Department under the Ministry of Industry and Trade to organise training on capacity building in terms of digital transformation in trade promotion activities.
