120 booths showcasing Hoa Vang agricultural products

The Hoa Vang District People's Committee on Thursday opened the ‘Hoa Vang Agriculture Fair 2022’ with the highlight of more than 120 booths owned by nearly 100 businesses inside and outside the city. Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee Ho Ky Minh was among attendants here.

The ongoing fair aims to promote exchanges of experience in the production and consumption of products; solutions and applications of science and technology; introduce the ‘One Commune-One Product (OCOP) programme and achievements in agricultural and rural development, branding, as well as promote potentials and strengths, expand exchanges and links in economic, cultural - social development, and promote trade between localities.

The 3-day event also helps create conditions for scientists, businesses, entrepreneurs and farmers to boost cooperation, enter into joint ventures and establish linkages in the production chain, improve product value, and apply scientific achievements, advanced new technologies into production and processing, expanding the market, creating a premise for Hoa Vang agricultural products to reach out to domestic and international markets.

On display at the booths are hi-tech agricultural, typical and key local products, processed foods, traditional craft villages-made items, rural handicraft products, and agricultural machinery for mechanising the work of agriculture and other consumer products.

To mark the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relationships between Viet Nam and South Korea, the Viet Nam – South Korea Friendship Association is running 2 booths displaying South Korean agricultural products at the fair.
