The total volume of cargo transported through the Da Nang Port in July 2022 reached more than 1 million tonnes, excluding unloaded transit goods, up more than 12.3% compared to the same period last year, according to a recent report by the Da Nang Port Authority.

This figure included more than 327,000 tonnes of exported goods, a rise of more than 33.5%; nearly 330,000 tonnes of imported items, an increase of nearly 11.7%; and about 442,500 tonnes of domestically produced goods, up 0.89%.

As accumulated, between January and July, nearly 6.5 million tonnes of cargo were transported through the Da Nang Port, excluding unloaded transit goods, representing a decrease of 2.89% against 2021.

Of this, the volume of domestically produced goods transported through the Da Nang Port generated nearly 2.6 million tonnes, down by nearly 19%, whilst that of container cargo reached more than 325,000 TEUs, a decline of more than 9% compared to the same period in 2021.
