Da Nang promotes tourism on Tiktok platform
The GDL Multimedia JSC in collaboration with the T.Media Media Academy and the Da Nang Tourism Promotion Center to hold a meeting entitled ‘I tell you about Tiktok stories’ on Saturday morning.

The event attracted more than 120 Tiktokers, content creators, salespeople, and marketing staff of city-based tourism firms.
During the meeting, the organizers and Tiktokers shared expertise and content development orientations as well as ways to develop the Tiktok channel effectively to attract more viewers. Also, skills, knowledge, thinking and background necessary for work on the internet were introduced at the event.
Director of the GDL Multimedia JSC Nguyen Bui Duy Nguyen remarked thanks to being a young and modern city, Da Nang boasted great potential for Tiktokers to explore, especially in the aspects of tourism and culinary.
He expressed his hope that the exchange and sharing of experiences with the speakers would help young people become more confident and inspire them to develop a strong Tiktoker community in Da Nang in particular, and Central Viet Nam in general.
According to Director of the Da Nang Tourism Promotion Center Nguyen Thi Hoai An, Tiktok is currently one of the social networking platforms attracting great attention from the young community. The platform hit 1.2 billion active users globally in 2021 and the figure is projected to hit 1.8 billion by the end of 2022. Therefore, it is considered to be a potential market for businesses to promote products and services.
Danang Fantasticity is also making efforts to promote the city’s tourism through the Tiktok platform and is in need of join efforts and support of young people in order to create a Tiktok community that can spread the attraction of the city as well as the friendliness of local residents to friends at both home and abroad.
