Gas prices fall for fourth time
Today, August 1, domestic gas prices fell for the fourth time in a row. Particularly, retail gas prices dropped by more than VND18,000 per 12kg canister depending on gas distributors.
Specifically, the Pacific Petroleum Export and Import Trading JSC is now selling 12kg cooking gas canisters at the price of VND451,500 each, down by VND18,000, and 50kg canisters at VND1,880,500 each, a decrease of VND75,000.
Similarly, the Ho Chi Minh City Petroleum One Member Limited Company (Saigon Petro) reduced the retail price of a 12kg canister by VND18,500 to VND430,500.
Meanwhile, the southern branch of the Viet Nam LPG Trading JSC announces its retail gas prices are currently set at VND432,900 per 12kg canister, a decrease of VND18,000, and at VND1,623,390 per 45kg canister, a decline of VND67,500.
The retail gas prices of the Sai Gon Petrolimex Gas Company were reduced by VND18,500 per 12kg canister and VND72,000 per 48kg canister.
This is the fourth consecutive month and the fifth time gas prices have fallen this year with a total drop of VND97,000 per 12kg canister.
