Domestic gas market is showing sign of cooling down as gas prices fell for the fifth straight month on Wednesday.

Retail gas prices were cut by around VND7,000 per 12kg canister depending on gas distributors.

Specifically, the retail gas prices of Petrolimex (VAT included) slid by VND7,300 and VND29,000 to VND423,100 per 12kg cylinder and VND1,692,300 per 48kg cylinder, respectively.

Similarly, the Southern Gas Trading JSC (PV Gas South) annouced its retail gas prices are currently set at VND426,900 per 12kg canister, down by VND7,000, and at VND1,601,736 per 45kg canister, a decline of VND26,000.
