The Da Nang Women's Union (WU)-held seminar took place on Wednesday to discuss a project of building a network to connect and encourage businesswomen and female startup leaders to participate in Da Nang’s socio-economic development in the 2022 - 2026 period.

The municipal Women's Union has approved a draft plan to implement the project with specific and detailed contents and tasks, establishing the network management board comprising of 25 members from agencies and organisations related to start-up activities, entrepreneurial activities, and small businesses.

In addition, discussing and proposing solutions to effectively implement the project such as raising awareness and knowledge for businesswomen, female startup leaders about the law in civilised business and trade, food quality, safety and hygiene, as well as proposing policies and solutions to support sustainable development, contributing to ensuring gender equality in the economic field.

The project has been approved by the Da Nang Women's Union to build a network for connection among businesswomen so as to encourage their participation in the city’s socio-economic development in the 2022-2026.

This is an opportunity for businesswomen to have conditions to promote mutual support and knowledge exchanges in business and trade activities, thereby contributing to the successful implementation of socio-economic development tasks, solving poverty reduction and ensuring social security and the city’s international economic integration in the current period.
