Da Nang leaders congratulate entrepreneurs on special day

On Wednesday, Da Nang leaders and representatives of local government departments and agencies visited and congratulated city-based businesses on the occasion of the Viet Nam Entrepreneurs’ Day (October 13).

During his visit to the Danapha Pharmaceutical JSC, municipal People's Committee Chairman Le Trung Chinh sent his best wishes to the company's leaders and staff on their special day.

He highly lauded the company’s great and comprehensive contributions over the past year. He also suggested Danapha focus on promoting the application of science and technology in producing quality pharmaceutical products that are suitable for other countries, as well as expanding its consumption market.

In reply, Dr. Le Thang Binh, General Director of the Danapha Pharmaceutical JSC, revealed that Danapha is building a pharmaceutical manufacturers and a GMP-EU standard research and development centre which are expected to come into operation in 2023.

At the Military Petroleum Company Region 2, Chairman Chinh highly appreciated the company for its great contributions to the city budget. The company is the main supplier of fuel and petrol in the city.

The city leader proposed the company to improve its high sense of business organisation, strengthen communication and association with focal points, and ensure supply at retail stores.

He is committed to always standing side by side with the company to overcome their difficulties and problems.

Also on the same day, Vice Chairwoman of the municipal People's Council Cao Thi Huyen Tran visited a number of businesses on the occasion of the Viet Nam Entrepreneurs' Day.

At the Da Nang Power One Member Company Limited (Da Nang PC), Vice Chairwoman Cao Thi Huyen Tran acknowledged and highly appreciated the company’s remarkable achievements in production and business activities.

She expressed her hope that the unit would continue to promote technology innovation, and digital transformation, to meet market demand and contribute to the city’s overall development. The city government pledged to create favourable conditions for enterprises to feel secure in production and business activities in the city.

According to Da Nang PC, in the first 9 months of 2022, commercial electricity output reached more than 2.2 billion kWh, up 8.71% over the same period. It is expected that by late 2022, the output is estimated at 2.95 billion kWh, up 8.95% compared to 2021. The unit is providing 12 online electricity services at the national public service portal or EVNCPC’s customer care website.

Besides, Da Nang PC always accompanies the city's digital transformation process and effectively implements social welfare programmes.

When visiting the Da Nang Port JSC, Mrs. Tran said that the city is speeding up and completing procedures related to key projects such as Lien Chieu Port, a number of industrial support projects at the Hi-Tech Park to expand industrial parks. She hoped that the Da Nang Port will approach to invest in the Lien Chieu Port project in the near future, thereby promoting the circulation of goods through Da Nang.

It is known that the Da Nang Port is promoting activities, and determined to achieve the highest goal in 2022, towards 2023. Specifically, the Da Nang Port is synchronising infrastructure, and accelerating digital transformation and contactless transactions.

At the Da Nang branch of the Bank for Social Policies (VBSP), Vice Chairwoman Cao Thi Huyen Tran acknowledged that the unit has performed well in social security work in the past time, helping people and organisations stabilise their lives.

During his Wednesday visit to Heineken Viet Nam Brewery - Da Nang Co., Ltd on the occasion of the Viet Nam Entrepreneurs’ Day (October 13), Deputy Head of the city's National Assembly Deputies' Delegation Tran Chi Cuong highly lauded Heineken's great contributions to the State budget revenue. He expressed his desire for the business to continue to promote its achieved results for further development.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phuc, General Director of the Heineken Viet Nam Brewery - Da Nang Co., Ltd, said that up to now, Heineken's business activities have made positive recovery steps. He expected that 2023 will be a year of breakthrough in development. By 2025, the company aims to develop green factories and modernise machinery.
