By 10:00 am on Saturday, the Da Nang Electricity One Member Co., Ltd (Da Nang PC) had resumed power supply for 150,564 customers after power cut forced by torrential deluge on Friday evening.

Previously, the impact of heavy rain during the day and night of Friday has deeply flooded some residential areas in the city. The Da Nang PC had no choice but to cut power supply for 206,000 customers citywide for safety.

Currently, the Da Nang PC staff are striving to as soon as possible resume power supply for residents in the commune of Hoa Khuong, Hoa Nhon, Hoa Phong, Hoa Lien, Hoa Bac, Hoa Ninh and Hoa Phu communes in Hoa Vang District and some residential areas in Hai Chau, Thanh Khe and Cam Le, Son Tra and Lien Chieu districts.

Currently, the Da Nang PC is still on course to mobilise manpower to check electrical safety conditions after the water receded for the power supply restoration.

Peoples are advised to carefully check electrical equipment in their homes. When the mains power is on, it is necessary to carefully check to ensure that the equipment and power lines are dry, then proceed to turn on the circuit breaker for each area in the house to avoid any danger.
