5,000 train tickets with 30% discount on offer in December 2022
The Sai Gon Railway Transport JSC has announced a 30% discount on 5,000 tickets applied on North-South passenger trains from December 1 - 28.
Accordingly, discounted train tickets can be purchased from 8:00am on November 24 to the end of December 25, 2022, and should be bought at least three days before the departure date.
Reduced fares are fixed for soft seats and sleepers with the number of seats and beds specified on the carriages.
Specifically, passengers can buy discounted fares on a pair of passenger trains SE3/SE4 running on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a distance of 400km or more, and on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays with a distance of 500km or more; or on a pair of passenger trains SE7/SE8 travelling on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays with a distance of 400km or more, on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays with a distance of 500km or more.
Trains SE21/SE22 on the HCMC - Da Nang route with a distance of from 400km, trains SNT1/SNT2 running between HCMC and Nha Trang with a distance of from 250km, and trains SPT1/SPT2 travelling on the HCMC - Phan Thiet route with a distance of from 150km, are also offering discounted fares.
This probably means that when passengers buy tickets on fixed seats on these routes, they will receive a 30% discount on fares.
Passengers who buy tickets to the number of seats and fixed seats on these trains and have the prescribed transport distance will receive a 30% discount.
Previously, the Saigon Railway Transport JSC had announced that after 20 days of opening Tet train tickets, there are currently about 73,000 seats left.
It is known that before Tet, there are about 19,000 seats left, including about 13,000 main seats and 6,000 auxiliary seats, for trains departing from Ho Chi Minh City to Ha Noi on January 12, 13, 14, 19, 20 and 21, 2023.
Meanwhile, after Tet, there are more than 54,000 seats left for trains running from Ha Noi to Ho Chi Minh City from January 22 - February 5, 2023.
