According to many retail chains, mobile device stores across the city, the supply of laptops, tablets and other electronic devices is quite abundant with many from-affordable- to - high-end segments for suitable selection by customers.

Meanwhile, a number of new smart phone brands launched in recent times also help the market become more bustling. As reported by representatives of FPT shop and F.Studio, both run by FPT Da Nang branch, since October, there has been often a shortage of new technology products that have just been released by world-renowned big tech “giants”.

The segment chosen by many consumers this year is the mid-range phones worth of VND 5 million - VND 10 million. There are also a large number of customers looking to buy high-end products over VND25 million.

Mr. Nguyen Tan Canh, a resident in Hai Chau 1 Ward, Hai Chau District shared that he himself is a technology enthusiast, so every year he is in a need to buy the latest devices. The phone line he is looking to buy is the purple iPhone 14 Pro Max with the 128GB capacity.

Meanwhile, according to Mr. Le Anh Toan, Director of Quoc Hung Co., Ltd, the management unit of Samsung's high-end authorised store in Da Nang, new phone brands have recently been launched.
Such devices as Galaxy Z Flip 4 with popular selling price ranging from VND 18-21 million and Galaxy Z Fold 4 hovering from VND 33-38 million are witnessing good consumption.

Besides, S22 series from VND 18- 26 million or the popular Galaxy A series priced from VND 4-10 million is also much prefered by many customers.

Mr. Phan Viet Nhan, a resident in Hoa Khanh Nam Ward, Lien Chieu District said that technology services have helped him a lot in paying bills for electricity, tap water and internet connection supply. Payments such as movie tickets, health insurance and train tickets can also be done easily through e-wallets.

“With just a smart phone, I can perform financial activities at home in a smooth and easy fashion. For a person who often has to pay bills and services, this saves a lot of time and human effort. Along with that, e-wallets every month have attractive promotions, which targets the psychology of people who often have to pay bills and services like me”, said Nhan.

Mr. Nguyen Trung Hai, the Director of Da Nang Telecommunications, Chief Representative of Viet Nam Posts and Telecommunications Group in Da Nang (VNPT Da Nang) said that many services are currently attracting the number of registrations. In particular, VNPT e-wallet received more attention from customers when it was a newly launched service and had many great incentives in bill payments.

Mr. Phan Thanh Vinh, the Director of the Da Nang branch of the Digital Payment Solutions JSC (VNPay) said that the openness of customers in accepting modern payment technologies has boosted the payment rate.

Cashless in Da Nang has increased sharply recent times, and also highly encouragingly, businesses have promoted their brands and built up effective promotional campaigns, creating a premise for the development of online payment platforms. There is no denying that an increase in sales of technology services makes businesses focus more on researching new services, improving existing products towards increasing competitiveness.
