The Da Nang and Son La departments of Agriculture and Rural Development ink the memorandum of understanding to boost bilateral cooperation on the trade and consumption of OCOP products, November 15, 2022. |
The signing event was within the framework of a seminar to boost trade connection and the consumption of key agricultural, typical and OCOP products.
Accordingly, the two localities agreed to create favourable conditions for enterprises, cooperatives and households to boost the consumption of their OCOP products in the market. It is known that, after more than 3 years of implementing the national OCOP programme, Da Nang has housed 40 certified OCOP products, 17 of which are 4-stared and the remaining ones are 3-stared items.
It is expected that 25 more OCOP products will make their debut in the Da Nang market by the end of 2022, bringing the total number to 65 products.
According to the Da Nang Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, although the number of certified products is not much, Da Nang has focused on testing, evaluating and classifying products and enhancing product quality.
