In his remarks at the inauguration ceremony, municipal People's Committee Vice Chairman Le Quang Nam stated that the city has seen positive recovery in all fields after COVID-19 has been effectively brought under control.

In particular, in the first 9 months of 2022, the city granted investment certificates to 21 domestic projects with a total registered capital of VND 7,345 billion, an increase of 6 projects and a 3-fold rise in registered capital over the same period last year.

In addition, there were 3,465 newly registered enterprises with a total registered capital of VND 17,498 billion operating in the city during the 9-month period. Besides domestic enterprises, the presence of nearly 1,000 foreign direct investment (FDI) enterprises accounted for a significant proportion in the city’s socio-economic growth rate.

Vice Chairman Nam praised the Fujikin-Da Nang Research, Development and Production Centre for using environmentally friendly natural resources and creating high-quality, high-intellectual products that are in line with the city’s priorities.

Therefore, he believed that, in the near future, the operation of the centre would greatly contribute to the development of businesses, schools and Da Nang as a whole.

The city leader also pledged that the municipal government would create the most favourable conditions for the Centre to contribute to developing Da Nang into a worth-living, worth-working and worth-investing destination.

The US$ 35 million Fujikin-Da Nang Research, Development and Production Centre project was jointly implemented by DNFC and the University of Science and Technology - the University of Da Nang.
