The Science and Technology Enterprise and Market Development Department under the Ministry of Science and Technology has entered a cooperation agreement with Intracom Group to establish and develop a national startup and innovation complex.

The aforementioned Ha Noi-based complex aims to concretise the project ‘Supporting the national innovation startup ecosystem until 2025 and the science & technology and innovation development strategy by 2030”.

Specifically, focus will be on developing a national open innovation and startup complex, organising events related to the national innovation and startup ecosystem with an emphasis on industry and technology, promoting cooperation in training and the joint incubation of innovative startup projects and spurring up national and international investment connection.

Phase 1 of the complex development will feature the formation of functional subdivisions including a reception area and offices to promote the operation of the national ecosystem and areas for incubation, investment connection and a shared working space.

High priority will be given to building an international model of open innovation and creative startups with a connection with more than 10 countries and territories worldwide, annually attracting more than 5 investment funds, national and international incubators.

The goal of the complex is to turn the creative startup ecosystem and open innovation into a driving force for socio- economic development.
