The Southern Sai Gon Railway Transport JSC (Saratrans) resumed the SE21/21 trains connecting Da Nang with Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) today, November 18 after suspension due to a shortage of the passengers and flooding triggered by heavy rainfall on October 14.

Saratrans announced a 30% discount on 10% of these trains’ tickets for passengers travelling within November. Railway sector’s discount program is also applied on fares for these trains for social policy beneficiaries, seniors, war invalids, college students, children, and trade union members. When buying return, group and advance tickets, a 5%- 40% discount is given off regular prices for traveling in these trains. Passengers who buy full-room and full-car services are eligible for a discount up to 10% to 15% off the price of their train ticket purchase.
