The Da Nang Department of Science and Technology has earmarked a VND 670 million fund to support the Da Nang Rubber JSC (DRC)to purchase equipment for technological innovation under the ‘Automatic chemical weighing system’ project.

The automatic chemical weighing system is assessed to have a high degree of automation, accuracy and modernity, contribute to increasing productivity, product quality, reduce environmental impact and control chemical safety and protect workers' health as well.

DRC is a large enterprise, affirming its brand name in the field of manufacturing rubber tubes and tyres in domestic and foreign markets, making many contributions to the city's socio-economic development.

In addition to focusing on market development, the company focuses on researching products that meet the increasing needs of customers, and at the same time applying innovative technological solutions to improve product quality and reduce impact on the environment.

It is known that, over the past years in the city, there have been over 70 enterprises receiving support from the municipal budget for technology innovation with a total of nearly VND 8 billion.

In 2022 alone, more than VND 1.7 billion in grants were provided for 8 enterprises to innovate technology and 17 enterprises to apply advanced quality management systems and register for protection of intellectual property rights.
