Da Nang ranks 4th for highest budget revenue in Viet Nam
The 11-month state budget revenue is estimated at nearly VND1,639 trillion, equivalent to 116.1% of the target and up 17.4% from a year earlier, according to the Ministry of Finance.
Some budget collections exceed the estimates. In particular, domestic revenue reaches 110.5% of the estimate, up 13.5%. Balanced budget revenue from import and export activities surpasses 132.4% of the estimate, up 25.1%. Revenue from crude oil exceeded 144.6% of the estimate, up 77.6% against 2021.
Most notably, the state budget revenue of five centrally-governed cities accounts for more than 54% of the national budget.
Specifically, Ho Chi Minh City took the lead in the country for highest budget revenue with a total of VND 457,500 billion, exceeding 18.4% of the assigned estimate and increasing by more than 17% over the same period.
The city is followed by Ha Noi with total budget revenue of VND308,500 billion, representing 99% of the annual ordinance estimate and up by 4% over the same period.
Hai Phong took third place with the 11-month budget revenue of VND95,036 billion, up 13.7% over the same period.
Da Nang ranked 4th with its total budget revenue of VND 21,253 billion, up 15.8% over the same period in 2021.
Finally, Can Tho’s total budget revenue increases by 13.89% over the same period to hit VND 13,635 billion.
