The Da Nang chapter of the National Steering Committee 389 on Anti-smuggling, Counterfeit Goods and Trade Fraud (Steering Committee 389) has issued a plan to strengthen the fight against smuggling, commercial fraud, and illegal transportation of goods through Da Nang International Airport.

Implemented from December 1, 2022 to the end of December 1, 2025, the plan aims to proactively detect, fight, prevent and promptly and strictly handle smuggling, illegal trade and commercial fraud activities, and illegal transportation of goods.

The focus is on increasing inspections and supervisions,and  boosting the coordination with relevant unit, in order to ensure timely detection and handling of violations.

Importance is attached to raising the awareness of law observance among organizations and individuals involved in the entry/exit, and goods exports and imports.

The Market Management Department - The Standing Body of the city’s Steering Committee is responsible for directing the affiliated market management teams, especially mobile anti-smuggling enforcement teams, to collect and share information, as well as well fulfil their assigned tasks.
