The Authority of Da Nang Hi-Tech Park and Industrial Zones (DHPIZA) - held seminar has provided digital transformation application solutions in corporate governance and manufacturing plants with the goal of supporting businesses to effectively implement this task according to the landmark Da Nang Digital Transformation Project.

Besides creating an ecosystem, supporting the application of digital transformation in enterprises to improve efficiency in corporate management and production will be given a priority, thereby improving productivity, quality, contribute to enable businesses to adapt to the fourth industrial revolution for the sake of the city's economic growth.

As reported by Nguyen Cong Tien, DHPIZA Deputy Head, many businesses that are active in the city’s service and tourism sectors have gradually applied digital transformation to their operations, management, production and sales. However, manufacturing enterprises in industrial zones still face some difficulties in applying digital transformation due to  shortage of capital and other types of resources.

With the structure of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) accounting for a large proportion, the formulation of a policy and its application in practice will require a lot of time and money to help businesses navigate and find opportunities to speed up effectively digital transformation.

Digital transformation is a tool to help the city achieve great goals and achievements, such as building itself into a smart city by 2030”.

With the local administration’s recommendations, businesses shall set up digital transformation teams, promote non-cash payments, make a request for advice and support for digital transformation, use personal QR codes for factory access control, use of information on the Open Data Portal, access specific support policies from the national and municipal governments and approach digital transformation technology solutions in operation.

It is known that VNPT will continue to accompany manufacturing enterprises in digital transformation models.

The local authorities will take specific application solutions suitable for SMEs, implement SMEASY digital platform in support for SMEs, help them improve production quality and safety in factories and industrial zones, energy cost saving and sustainable development in production.
