Two products made by the Electronics Manufacturing Center under the Da Nang-based Central Power Corporation (EVNCPC) have been honoured with ‘Make in Viet Nam’ Digital Technology Product Awards 2022. They are electronic meters and electric vehicle charging stations.

Accordingly, electronic meter products have been researched, designed, tested, and manufactured by EVNCPC's engineers. These products have been put into use since 2000 with 28 types of 1-phase and 3-phase electronic meters, and one and multiple tariffs.

The products meet all electricity metering needs and international standards, and are in line with Viet Nam's metrology and regulatory standards.

The fast charging station for electric cars has been installed at 13 member power companies. Also, the product is being connected to the solar power system of the Viet Nam Oil Corporation.

These charging stations greatly contribute to reducing fuel costs for car users, saving costs when purchasing imported equipment, reducing environmental pollution, and creating infrastructure to stimulate demand for electric automobile development.

Co-organised by the Ministry of Information and Communications and the Viet Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), the ‘Make in Viet Nam’ Digital Technology Product Awards 2022 aims to honour impact digital products contributing to the acceleration of e-government, digital economy and digital society in Viet Nam.
