Gasoline prices plunge to lowest level since early 2022

The retail prices of petrol and oil plunged to their lowest level since early this year in the latest adjustment made at 3:00pm on Monday by the Inter-Ministry of Industry and Trade - Finance.

Specifically, the price of RON 95-III, which stands at VND21,200 per litre, was cut by VND1,500 per litre, whilst that of E5 RON 92 was adjusted down by VND1,330  to VND20,340  per litre.

In the adjustment, oil prices also decreased by between VND940-VND1,660 per litre and kg.

The retail prices of diesel and kerosene went down to the maximum of VND21,670 and VND21,900 per litre respectively, a decrease of VND1,540 and VND1,660 per litre. Mazut oil is now on sale at VND13,010 per kg, a drop of VND940.

The Inter-Ministry of Industry and Trade - Finance also decided to extract VND400 VND per litre from RON 95-III price, VND300 from E5 RON 92 price, VND800 per litre from diesel price, VND500 per litre from kerosene price, and VND500 per kg from Mazut oil price for the petrol price stabilisation fund.
