This year’s fair features more than 250 booths of nearly 200 businesses from Da Nang and 16 provinces and cities across the country, including Ha Noi, Ho Chi Minh City, Lao Cai, Lai Chau, Bac Ninh, Thanh Hoa, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan, Dak Lak, Lam Dong, Binh Duong, Dong Nai and Tay Ninh.

Director of the Da Nang Centre for Industrial and Trade Promotion Le Thanh Ha highlighted that the fair provided an opportunity for Vietnamese businesses to assert themselves among consumers.
Many businesses registered very early right after the organizers sent out invitations. Meanwhile, the others contributed good ideas to make the fair more successful, such as reducing prices of Vietnamese goods, conducting promotion programmes, organising lucky draws, etc.
Participating in this year's Spring Fair, the Peco Food Co., Ltd based in Hoa Phuoc Commune, Hoa Vang District, introduces its products made from pork such as ‘cha lua’ (pork bologna), ‘cha que’ (pork sausage), herb sausages, and smoked sausage.
Mr. Nguyen Van Tai, a company representative, said that his company’s products are still not widely known by consumers, so his company has actively participated in fairs or supply and demand connection conferences in order to expand its consumption market.
Meanwhile, Mrs. Mai Thi Y Nhi, the owner of the My Phuong Foods Bakery, expressed that the traditional Tet holiday is the good opportunity for her establishment to promote sales. Currently, her facility brings to the fair 12 different types of baked coconut cakes with a total of 15,000 boxes.
The Spring Fair is an annual trade promotion activity on the occasion of Tet. During this year’s event, there are a cluster of booths displaying OCOP, and typical commercial and rural industrial products, aiming to connecting OCOP and featured products production facilities in Da Nang with distributors, consumers and tourists inside and outside the city.

Director of the municipal Department of Industry and Trade Le Thi Kim Phuong expects that the 2023 Spring Fair will continue to be an inviting ‘destination’ for businesses and consumers, and be a good place for locals and tourists to enjoy the joyful and bustling shopping and entertainment atmosphere of the last days of the lunar year.
At the same time, the fair contributes to promoting the effective implementation of solutions to stabilize the market, stimulate consumer demand to improve purchasing power, and encourage enterprises to improve production and business capacity in order to create and develop sustainable domestic market.
