Early morning at the largest wholesale market in Da Nang
From 4:00 am on January 18 (the 27th day of the 12th lunar month), the bustling atmosphere of trading activities was recorded at the Hoa Cuong wholesale market where a large number of vegetables and fruits were supplied for thousands of small traders across Quang Nam and Da Nang.

When everyone was still asleep and the streets were quiet, dozens of people working at the wholesale market started their working day.
Trucks full of goods stopped in front of the market’s gates. Workers began unloading goods. The work was very urgent because Tet was coming very close.
The Hoa Cuong Wholesale market is also the place where many workers outside Da Nang come to make a living.
Mrs. Le Thi Mai, 45, hailing from Quang Ngai Province is a typical example. She said she worked as a puller of tricycle at the market with stable income of VND100,000 - VND200,000 per day.
She intended to work until the 28th day of the 12th lunar month, and then buy some gifts and return to her hometown to celebrate Tet with her family.
The Hoa Cuong Wholesale Market is one of the large-scale markets in the city. It is now home to more than 500 stalls selling agricultural products, fruits and seafood. Contrary to other markets that operate until noon, the wholesale market is only crowded with buyers and sellers before dawn.
