According to the Authority of the Da Nang Hi-Tech Park and Industrial Parks, a total of 62,429 workers are working at industrial parks, the Hi-tech Park and the Information Technology Park. As of January 30, about 95 of the workers returned to work after Tet.

As recorded at the Da Nang Rubber JSC (DRC) on the morning of January 30, about 70% of the company’s staff returned to work, and it is expected on February 1, 100% of the company's employees will be back to work.

It is known that DRC sets a revenue target of VND5,500 billion in 2023, exceeding the actual revenue of 2022 by more than 10%.

Mr. Le Hoang Khanh Nhut, General Director of DRC, said that in order to fulfill the set goal, the company will focus on expanding its export market with products of radial, LTR and PCR tyres. As for the domestic consumption market, the company will accelerate the production of tyres and tubes for motorcycles, bicycles.

In addition, the company continues to speed up the progress of the third phase of its project on raising the annual capacity of its Radial truck tyre manufacturing factory to 1 million tyres. The project is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2024, he added.

Similarly, nearly 90% of employees of the Asia Architecture and Trading Co., Ltd, equivalent to about 350 people, returned to work on January 30.

Director of the company Ha Ngoc Thong said that right from January 27 (the 6th), about 75% of the company’s workers returned to work, so the stabilisation of production was relatively fast compared to after previous Tet holidays.

He remarked, in 2023, the company’s paper factory and packaging factory targeted to earn VND400 billion and more than VND150 billion in revenue respectively.

In an effort to achieve the above goal, the company strives to increase output by 10% compared to 2022, specifically producing about 25,000 tonnes of paper per year to distribute to partners in the Central Viet Nam and Central Highlands regions. Additionally, the company continues its plan to transform the segment, with a focus on increasing the production of high-end products and reducing the production of mid-segment products to increase value.

According to Mr. Ha Duc Hung, Director of the Cam Le District-based Ha Giang Phuoc Tuong Mechanical JSC, 2022 was a tumultuous year due to rising inflation, hike in raw material prices, and decreased demand. However, the company still has regular orders, and the number of new customers increased by 30%. Therefore, the company still ensures jobs and full income for its employees.

In 2023, the company continues to accelerate its development strategy by increasing customer experience, and at the same time, strive to implement three core values: ‘How to say it - Optimal solution - Responsibility to the end’.

According to the municipal Department of Industry and Trade, city-based businesses, especially Tet food production establishments, have deployed their detailed production and business plans for the first quarter of 2023 in a bid to ensure the supply of goods to meet domestic and export market demand.

In a similar vein, 100% of employees at the Hoa Tho Textiles and Garments Corporation returned to work on Monday.

Mrs. Nguyen Thi Thu Trang, a representative of the Hoa Tho Textiles and Garments Corporation, said that employees showed their great enthusiasm and strong determination to complete the 2023 plan from the beginning of the year.

According to Deputy Director of the municipal Department of Industry and Trade Nguyen Van Tru, although production and business activities in 2022 still faced many difficulties, most industrial enterprises in the city gave the traditional 13th month Tet bonus - an extra month's salary, Tet gifts and free coach tickets to their employees.
