The Da Nang Spring Fair 2023 officially opened at the Da Nang Exhibition and Convention Center, 9 Cach Mang Thang Tam Street, on Wednesday evening.

This is an annual trade promotion activity held on the occasion of the Lunar New Year in response to the ‘Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods’ campaign.

The fair, at the same time, aims to support participating businesses to introduce their products, promote their brands, expand their product consumption markets and serve people's Tet shopping needs.

The fair attracts the participation of nearly 200 businesses and cooperatives from Da Nang and 16 provinces and cities across the country with more than 250 booths. On display at the event are essential items to serve human needs during Tet, including food, beverages, fashion products, footwear, chemicals, cosmetics, handicraft products, typical products of regions, along with many attractive promotion programmes.

Visitors are seen at the Da Nang Spring Fair on the evening of January 11.

There is also a specialized booth displaying OCOP products, typical products, typical rural industrial products produced by Da Nang-based businesses and cooperatives.

Notably, visitors to the fair have a chance to enjoy a number of cultural and artistic activities, including nightly arts performances, a ‘Guessing product prices - Receiving instant gifts’ gameshow, culinary demonstrations performed by chefs of resorts and hotels in Da Nang.

This year’s Spring Fair runs until January 16.
