The Spring Fair 2023, which took place from January 11 - 16 at the Da Nang International Exhibition Fair Centre at 9 Cach Mang Thang Tam Street, attracted nearly 35,000 visitors in total.

According to the fair’s organisers, the businesses participating took an estimate of over VND7.5 billion from sales. All products on sale at the event met the diversified demands of local customers over the Tet holiday.

According to the assessment from the organizers, in 2022, businesses in Da Nang, and across the country as a whole, faced many difficulties, so the invitation of businesses to participate in the fair has not been as expected.

Although the number of participating booths was smaller, but many businesses invested in booth decoration in order to attract consumers.

In order to support cooperatives, OCOP subjects, businesses with typical trade certifications and start-ups in the city to introduce their products, the city’s Center for Industry Promotion and Trade Promotion proposed the municipal Department of Industry and Trade to support 50% booth rental fees for 15 out of the participating enterprises at the fair with a total cost of VND75 million.
