'Enjoy Da Nang Now' programme eyes to lure more tourists in 2023
The Da Nang Department of Tourism has issued a plan to implement the ‘Enjoy Da Nang Now’ programme with a goal of attracting about 1 - 1.5 million domestic and foreign visitors this year, especially on the nationwide break for the National Reunification Day (April 30) and International Labour Day (May 1) holidays, and mobilising more than 1 million participants interacting with the programme.

The aforementioned programme has the following themes: admire the beauty of the sea, holiday resorts; enjoy entertainment, cuisine, shopping experience and festivals. In particular, about 10,000 vouchers for free tourism products/services at Da Nang tourist attractions will be offered to tourists.
In addition to luring domestic participants, the programme targets those from such international visitor source markets as Korea, Japan, China, Taiwan (China), Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand.
The ‘Happy hour’ programme will offer visitors a wide range of discounts, incentives and gifts at tourist service establishments, including catering, spa-massage and shopping facilities across the city.
Besides, the city will host many exciting events and festivals to attract visitors month by month such as the Quan The Am (Avalokitesvara) Festival, Hip Hop festival: Radikal Forze Jam and Spring Festival at Sun World Ba Na Hills Resort in March; Da Nang Beach Tourism Season 2023, the introduction of new typical and OCOP (One Commune - One Product) item in April; IRONMAN 70.3 Viet Nam, SPRINT and IRONKIDS, ‘The Vibe Half Marathon 2023’ running event and Da Nang Asian Film Festival (DANAFF) in May; Amazing Da Nang Festival, Da Nang International Yoga Festival and Son Tra Heritage Marathon in June; Viet Nam - Japan Festival and Da Nang Open Paragliding Tournament in July; BRG Open Golf Championship Da Nang, Da Nang International Marathon, National Youth Sailing and Stand Up Paddling (SUP) Championships and a festival with the participation of Da Nang bands, dance groups and art troupes in August.
In addition, at local major tourist attractions, there are entertainment and experience programmes, nightlife activities and art performances to serve visitors.
