For the time being, Da Nang is one of the 23 airports in Asia to meet the four-star standards, while eight airports throughout Asia have been recognised as five-starred service providers by SkyTrax.
Since 2019, infrastructure and technological facilities of the Da Nang international terminal have been synchronously upgraded in an effort to optimise the passenger service, a step to reach the four-star standards.
Infrastructure is one of the factors promoted by the airport by upgrading and renovating the green space landscape, installing electronic board system E-Standee at all departure gates and developing children's play area.
Also, heed has been paid to supporting technology equipment such as automatic check-in, baggage handling and boarding pass control systems. Along with that, facilities at the terminal are also continuously expanded to bring practical and timely support to all subjects on both arrival and departure directions.
Free baby strollers, support counters information, private medical rooms and prayer sites are also made available here.
In terms of experience, the terminal is also a pioneer in bringing local culture and traditional performances into the diversification of entertainment activities.
According to Mr. Do Trong Hau, the AHT’s Deputy General Director, the Da Nang international terminal is a symbol of innovation spirit as its staff have always eagerly received feedback from passengers and partners for constant improvement to deliver services that exceed expectations.
SkyTrax is a global, independent, and leading assessment organisation on service quality of airlines and airports. Its score is also viewed as a global standard in assessing service quality, with survey items and the rate of difficulty continuously increasing each year.
